Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Fire Watch/Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining fire safety protocols at construction sites and other facilities. Your responsibilities will include monitoring fire safety systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant fire codes and regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to public safety while gaining valuable experience in fire prevention and system oversight. Duties Monitor construction sites or facilities for fire hazards and ensure adherence to fire safety standards Conduct regular fire watch patrols using personal protective equipment (PPE) and fire apparatus as needed Inspect sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and alarm systems to verify proper operation and compliance with NFPA standards Assist with construction inspection activities related to fire safety measures and building code analysis Support emergency response procedures by alerting authorities and assisting in evacuation efforts if necessary Maintain detailed logs of inspections, patrols, and any incidents or hazards observed Educate workers and visitors on fire prevention practices and the importance of life safety building codes Skills Strong understanding of fire codes, NFPA standards, and international fire code (IFC) compliance requirements Experience with system design, construction inspection, or building code analysis related to fire safety Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and fire sprinkler fitting procedures Ability to operate fire apparatus safely and effectively in emergency situations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences Familiarity with hazardous materials (Hazmat) handling protocols and respiratory protection equipment Supervising experience in safety or security roles is a plus; ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us at High Risk Enforcement LLC to be part of a dedicated team committed to safeguarding lives through rigorous fire prevention practices.
