Global EHS Manager Jabil is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to identify, evaluate, and control occupational health hazards within manufacturing environments. This role will focus on chemical safety, exposure assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, regulatory compliance, and implementation of effective risk reduction strategies. What can you expect to do? Assist in the development, training and roll-out of assessment program for chemical exposures. Conduct qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards. Manage risks associated with specialty chemicals, electronic manufacturing including adhesives, solvents, conformal coatings, lasers, x-rays, hydrofluoric acid (HF), and other hazardous materials. Assist in the design and implementation of industrial hygiene programs, including air monitoring, noise monitoring, and chemical exposure assessments. May perform personal and area air sampling using pumps, badges, and direct-reading instruments. Evaluate engineering controls, such as local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems, fume hoods, cleanroom laminar flow systems and containment systems such as isolators and glove boxes, using airflow measurement equipment and surrogate monitoring. Conduct workplace hazard assessments and recommend engineering, administrative, and PPE controls. Provide employee training on occupational health and chemical safety topics. Interpret and apply OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, and other applicable regulations. Prepare technical reports, maintain monitoring records, and communicate findings to management. Partner with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance teams to implement effective exposure controls. Provide support to Regional EHS team and sites for implementation and technical assistance, upon request. May join global assessment program as auditor/SME upon request. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What is the experience needed to be successful in this role? Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of industrial hygiene experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, electronics, or related industries. Experience with exposure monitoring, risk assessments, ventilation evaluations, and chemical safety programs. Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and exposure limits. On the path/working towards CIH certification preferred.
