Sanitation Manager

Sanitation / Operations Job Summary The Sanitation Manager is responsible for managing all sanitation activities in a USDA-regulated food processing facility. This role ensures the facility, equipment, and processes meet USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards to support safe and compliant food production. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily sanitation operations, including pre-op and post-op cleaning Ensure compliance with USDA, FSIS, SSOPs, HACCP, and food safety requirements Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs) Lead, train, and supervise sanitation employees and supervisors Conduct sanitation inspections and pre-operational checks Coordinate sanitation activities with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance Manage sanitation chemicals, supplies, and inventory Investigate and resolve sanitation issues and corrective actions Support audits, inspections, and regulatory visits Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 3-5+ years of sanitation experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of USDA regulations, SSOPs, and HACCP principles Familiarity with sanitation chemicals, CIP systems, and food safety practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills #jdp By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
