Night Sanitation Associate - Food Production Job Summary The Night Sanitation Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, machinery, workstations, and facility areas to ensure a safe, clean, and food-safe environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards while preparing the facility for the next production shift. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, conveyors, floors, walls, and work areas according to sanitation procedures. Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for thorough cleaning when required. Safely operate sanitation equipment, including pressure washers, foamers, and other cleaning tools. Use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitizers while following proper handling and safety procedures. Remove trash, food waste, and debris from production areas. Complete sanitation logs and documentation accurately and on time. Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness meets company and regulatory standards. Report maintenance concerns, equipment damage, or food safety issues to supervisors immediately. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift. Perform additional cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working around water, cleaning chemicals, and wet surfaces. Ability to work in cold, or refrigerated production environments. #
