New Millennium Overview:
New Millennium Butler is looking for a Safety Clerk to become part of our team. You will provide assistance with all aspects of our safety department operations and help create and maintain a safe workplace.
Responsibilities:
Conduct safety audits, produce audit reports, and follow up on action items. Provide support to the Safety Department Assist Safety Coordinator with new hire orientation and monthly safety training Maintain the Outside contractor certificate of insurance and the general program Assist with stocking and ordering safety supplies as needed Assist with various safety and environmental data collecting Maintaining SDS sheets for chemicals keeping them updated Assist with incident reporting Assist in job hazard analysis and PPE certifications Provide general support and assistance to the Safety Coordinator Other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Required Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects Excellent communication skills Desire to further your education and move up in the safety profession Can not be related to any current SDI/New Millennium employee Preferred High School Diploma Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
