About the Role As an EHS Specialist, you will champion a culture of workplace excellence by driving safety initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance across our production facilities. Your proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation will directly protect our workforce and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive safety programs that align with federal and state regulatory requirements. Perform rigorous facility audits and machine safety inspections to proactively eliminate workplace hazards. Lead employee training sessions on emergency preparedness, equipment handling, and best-in-class safety protocols. Partner with leadership to cultivate a safety-first mindset and ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards. Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent future occurrences. Manage detailed documentation for safety compliance, training records, and incident reporting. Leverage safety management software and Microsoft Office tools to track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing safety capacity. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management principles. Proven ability to analyze complex safety data and develop effective problem-solving strategies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate safety requirements clearly to diverse teams. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist). Demonstrated experience in implementing safety management systems within a fast-paced production environment.
