Job Description

Senior Site Health & Safety Officer - Construction (Iron Mountain, MI) Veterans Electrical Group is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to lead safety operations on active construction projects in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional who has transitioned into safety leadership and understands how to enforce compliance while maintaining respect in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring OSHA and federal safety compliance, leading site safety initiatives, and protecting the workforce across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all job site safety efforts and compliance Conduct audits, enforce standards, and train crews Manage incident investigations and reporting Maintain documentation for federal and OSHA compliance
Qualifications:
10+ years construction experience (union preferred) OSHA certification required (OSHA 30 minimum) Strong leadership and communication skills
Compensation:
Competitive salary + vehicle + benefits + bonus potential
