Job Description

Experis is seeking an EHS Specialist to support clients in the professional, scientific, and technical services sector. In this role, you will develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety programs across client sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations; delivering safety training; maintaining documentation and reporting; and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, leveraging data to reduce risk and promote a strong safety culture. Responsibilities Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures for client sites Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulations Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits Lead and document incident investigations and root cause analyses Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors Maintain EHS records, metrics, and regulatory reports Support corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with project and operations teams to integrate safety into workflows Assess contractor and vendor EHS performance Advise clients on EHS best practices and regulatory changes Required Skills OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance EHS program development and implementation Risk assessment and hazard analysis Incident investigation and root cause analysis EHS audits and inspections Safety training development and delivery EHS data analysis and reporting Industrial hygiene and exposure assessment basics Emergency response planning Use of EHS management systems/software
