full-time A leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an EHS Specialist for its facility in the Jackson, Mississippi area. This person will play a key role in strengthening workplace safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence within a fast-paced production environment. The position offers the opportunity to lead impactful safety initiatives, drive continuous improvement efforts, and influence a strong safety culture across the site. It is an excellent opportunity for an HSE professional looking to expand their leadership capabilities within a global and highly regulated manufacturing setting. The Role Lead and support health, safety, and environmental programs while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies. Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement preventive measures with a focus on reducing serious incidents. Facilitate incident investigations, determine root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve site performance. Perform audits, inspections, reporting, and data analysis to measure HSE effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with operations and leadership teams to strengthen safety culture, provide coaching, and support facility growth and operational projects. The Candidate Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of health, safety, and environmental experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, compliance activities, and HSE performance monitoring. Preferred qualifications include professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM, along with familiarity with

ISO 45001, ISO

14001, and Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles.
