Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Batch Man to join our team. This Batch Man will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of ready-mix concrete to ensure timely deliveries. This position requires effective communication skills and a strong understanding of logistics, construction sites, and ready-mix concrete materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using transportation management systems, have experience with dispatching and logistics, and have knowledge of construction industry best practices. What You'll do Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others at all times. Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation to and from work site. Plan daily schedules and deliveries. Organize order data into product deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatcher, drivers, customers, and managers to complete jobs and resolve issues.

Use Technology:

Utilize batching software, GPS technology, email, phone, and more. Coordinate fleet operations, including vehicle assignments and maintenance scheduling. Analyze batch data to improve mixes and efficiency. Skills You'll Need Computer Skills.

Programs used day-to-day include:

Command Concrete Scaling and Dispatching software, Google Suite, Microsoft Office. Typing proficiency is required. Communication skills. Phone, email, radio, and more. Fleet Management. Familiarity with transportation management systems and maintenance scheduling is a plus. Experience. Understand freight handling processes and regulations, transportation planning, route efficiency, and logistics principles. Industry Knowledge. Knowledge of concrete products, construction sites, and dispatching methods is highly preferred. Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Drug Testing. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
