Overview:

Exceed Safety, a leading full-spectrum consulting firm headquartered in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an entry-level Site Safety Professional to work directly with clients on select jobsites. This role involves conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:

Safety Oversight & Compliance:

Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and site inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain comprehensive written logs of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.

Program Development & Implementation:

Plan, implement, and manage environmental safety and health programs tailored to client project sites. Develop and execute preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.

Emergency Management & Incident Response:

Collaborate with management to develop and update Emergency Action Plans. Serve as the primary contact for injury and incident notifications, investigations, and case management.

Technical & Project Support:

Provide expert guidance to project management teams on health and safety best practices. Ensure that all work adheres to approved manuals, internal policies, contract documents, and engineering standards.

Team Collaboration:

Participate actively in team meetings and maintain a regular on-site presence to support project goals and client needs.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 30 (Construction Safety).

Experience & Skills:

Previous experience or knowledge in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale commercial projects. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Strong conceptual planning, conflict management, and problem-solving skills. Effective leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to multi-task and work in dynamic environments.

Additional Requirements:

Must pass drug testing and background checks. Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, with potential nights, weekends, or four 10-hour day schedules as required.

Work Hours & Compensation:

This is a full-time, W-2 position. Compensation is commensurate with credentials and experience. per diem 204 per day that is worked
