We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support and advance workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment through inspections, training, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about workplace safety and environmental stewardship. What You'll Do- Perform regular safety rounds, audits, and inspections throughout company facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Observe employee work practices and procedures to evaluate safe work behaviors and identify operational safety risks. Conduct accident, injury, and near-miss investigations and ensure proper reporting and corrective actions are completed. Coordinate, maintain, and document EHS training records and equipment inventories. Prepare and maintain required EHS written programs, documentation, and training materials. Review and update EHS programs and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness. Conduct EHS risk assessments related to new equipment, programs, and facility additions. Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) databases and chemical inventories.
What You Bring- Education/Experience:
A relevant four-year college degree is required; equivalent applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Four or more years of manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Computer proficiency required; advanced computer skills preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and technical documents. Basic mathematical skills including working with fractions and decimals. Ability to manage multiple priorities and variables in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary Range:
$65,000-$75,000 (commensurate with experience)
Bonus Eligible Position Health, Dental & Vision Insurance:

Employer-paid $10,000 policy
Supplemental Insurance:
