You'll deliver training, manage hazardous materials and waste, and support ergonomics and industrial hygiene initiatives. Collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams, you'll help integrate EHS into new processes while advancing continuous improvement and regulatory excellence. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs for a precision optics manufacturing environment Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across production, lab, and assembly areas Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and records Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to employees and supervisors, updating materials as processes change Monitor hazardous materials handling, waste management, and chemical storage in accordance with regulatory requirements Support ergonomics assessments and industrial hygiene monitoring, recommending improvements to reduce exposure risks Collaborate with engineering, operations, and facilities to integrate EHS requirements into new processes and equipment Track and report EHS performance metrics, recommending continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and readiness, including spill response and evacuation procedures OSHA compliance EPA and environmental regulations EHS program development Safety audits and inspections Incident investigation and root-cause analysis Hazardous waste and chemical management Industrial hygiene and ergonomics Risk assessment and mitigation EHS training development and delivery EHS data analysis and reporting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or equivalent credential a plus OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification HAZWOPER or hazardous waste training First Aid/CPR certification preferred
