Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Safety Specialist to support oil field operations across Ohio and drive a strong, proactive safety culture. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices while serving as a trusted safety resource for field personnel and leadership. This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, confident in their decision-making, and passionate about making sure every employee goes home safe at the end of each shift. Responsibilities Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and determine root cause Maintain OSHA logs, safety reports, and compliance documentation Support JHAs, risk assessments, and safe work practices Monitor job sites for proper PPE and safe work procedures Act as the safety liaison between field teams, management, and clients Assist with drug & alcohol program administration and workers' comp processes Participate in emergency response activities as needed Preferred Qualifications OSHA Trainer (or willingness to obtain) CSP, ASP, or other safety certifications Experience with digital safety management systems SIF (Serious Injury & Fatality) analysis experience Safety training instructor certifications (H2S, Smith Driving, CPR, etc.) College degree What's Offered Competitive salary: $65K - $80K Company credit card for business expenses Opportunity to lead and influence safety culture in the field Long-term career growth Join Rogue Industrial Group as our next Field Safety Specialist and be a vital part of shaping safer workplaces across the industry.
