Job Description

Job Overview The Field Safety Representative promotes TWC's safety culture by ensuring every co-worker returns home safely every night. The Field Safety Representative is expected to spend 100% of time in the field observing and coaching co-workers on correction of unsafe conditions and behaviors. Reinforces positive behavior through recognition and/or rewards. Serves as a resource to co-workers by answering questions about safety and sharing lessons learned. Embeds self with the project team and strategically "dives in" using a hands-on approach to improve project safety, quality and productivity (SQP). Duties The Field Safety Representative is responsible for the following: Promote the company's safety culture by being a safety resource to the project. Assist in project compliance with all safety rules and regulations Assist with or fully conduct case management, including weekly incident reviews Identifies unsafe conditions and behaviors, and coaches the immediate correction to eliminate the condition or behavior Observes and coaches co-workers responsible for daily Mission Task Analyses (MTAs) and Tool Box Talks to ensure they are completed effectively. Applies all OSHA regulations to the scope of work Conducts continual safety review of the project site Conducts safety trainings such as fall protection, rigging, equipment operation, confined space and Haz-Com Qualifications Proven experience in construction site safety management or related roles within the construction industry. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health practices, and compliance management within construction environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead safety training implementation effectively across diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction management software tools for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Ability to conduct electrical safety procedures assessments and enforce occupational health protocols diligently.
Experience:
Field Safety Experience CHST certification required
OSHA 510
