Job Description

Find your calling at Mercy! This position provides the necessary technical oversight, planning, direction, and operational work for the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of Life Safety programs implemented by Facilities Maintenance and Operations. The Life Safety programs will include OSHA, Joint Commission, NFPA, and CMS compliance as it relates to Facilities Maintenance and Operations throughout Mercy. The purpose of this position is to ensure a safe working environment and support an exceptional Environment of Care for Mercy Health. Scope of responsibility includes all hospitals, clinics and other properties maintained by Facilities Maintenance Operations throughout Mercy Ministry. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Minimum Required Qualifications Education:
Associates degree in science, safety, public health, or other related fields
Licensure:
Must maintain a valid drivers license
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience coordinating and implementing safety programs in healthcare or public health that support Environment of Care and Life Safety programs, or 2 years experience and Bachelors degree in Public Health, Safety, or other related fields. Must have project management skills and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Why Mercy?
