Pengate Handling Systems is seeking a proactive and organized Facilities & EHS Specialist to oversee the day-to-day management of our facilities while supporting company-wide environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This position is ideal for a safety professional looking to expand into facilities management or a facilities professional with a strong interest in workplace safety. As the primary point of contact for facility operations, you will partner closely with branch leadership, service managers, procurement, and third-party vendors to ensure our locations remain safe, compliant, well-maintained, and operationally efficient. You'll play a key role in managing facility projects, coordinating vendor services, supporting regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our branch network. Duties & Responsibilities Facilities Management Manage facility maintenance projects and day-to-day building operations across multiple branch locations. Partner with onsite coordinators and service managers to prioritize facility repairs and operational needs. Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs, preventative maintenance, capital improvements, and facility upgrades. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards. Partner with Procurement to manage vendor relationships, service agreements, leases, and facility contracts. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other building systems. Track facility work orders, maintenance requests, project status, and expenditures. Coordinate facility support services including janitorial, landscaping, snow removal, pest control, waste removal, and recycling. Manage workspace planning, office moves, furniture procurement, and facility space utilization. Assist with facility budgeting and capital improvement planning. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Support compliance with
