What you'll do Conduct safety audits and observe field activities Coach teams on proper safety techniques and procedures Lead toolbox talks and site-specific training Support root cause investigations of incidents Ensure crews are in compliance with PPE and job-specific hazards Document observations and report non-compliance Monitor usage of equipment and safety tools Coordinate with supervisors to improve safety performance Provide input on policy updates based on observations Travel between sites to maintain regional safety presence What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience in field safety or utility safety oversight Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations Valid driver's license; must travel to various job sites Additional qualifications (if applicable) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at individual level and in group Ability to maintain records in well-organized manner Must maintain a satisfactory driving record while in the position, as consistent safe driving behavior is essential when training or setting an example for others Physical abilities & exposures
