An Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator coordinates environmental health and safety policies, completes workplace and equipment inspections and implements workplace safety programs. Coordinates occupational safety training for employees. Monitors compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations. May oversee handling of hazardous materials at a company site.
Act as key member of site leadership team, influencing decisions and integrating HSE into all operational activities. Demonstrate the ability to challenge, coach, and hold leadership accountable to HSE expectations. Lead and drive safety culture maturity, ensuring HSE is a core business priority. Ensure alignment across production, engineering, logistics, maintenance, and support functions through leadership influence and governance. Provide direction and expectations for workforce engagement, with day-to-day field execution supported by the HSE Officer and site leadership team. Directly supervise the HSE Officer and is responsible for prioritization, delegation, coaching, and performance management of day-to-day HSE activities.

HEALTH:
Own industrial hygiene strategy, risk prioritization, and oversight of controls related to hazardous substances and occupational health risks.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a large-scale manufacturing environment with complex production processes and a workforce of 300+ employees preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and engage a diverse, multi-language workforce. Bachelor's degree in HSE, technical, or engineering field. CSP preferred but not required. Minimum 10 years of progressive HSE experience, including demonstrated success leading HSE strategy implementation, influencing leadership teams, and supervising or coaching HSE resources in manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of local HSE laws, corporate HSE standards, and
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, but not mandatory. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience with Workday, SharePoint, and HSE reporting systems (e.g., Enablon IMS). Multitask while working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
