Job Title:
Field Safety Specialist (Construction)
Location :
Rock Hill, SC Job Summary We are seeking a Field Safety Specialist to support construction projects by ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and OSHA regulations. This role is responsible for conducting site inspections, delivering safety training, investigating incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture across multiple job sites. Key Responsibilities Perform regular construction site safety inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and EHS programs. Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety training (OSHA, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR, Forklift, Confined Space, NFPA 70E, and more). Monitor PPE, safety equipment, and job site safety requirements. Maintain training records and safety documentation. Support project teams with safety guidance and attend project safety meetings. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of construction safety experience . Strong knowledge of
OSHA 29 CFR 1926 & 1910
regulations. Working knowledge of
NFPA 70E
; must meet Qualified Person criteria. Experience conducting safety audits and delivering safety training. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience on large-scale construction projects is a plus. Preferred OSHA 30 certification and other construction safety certifications are highly preferred. Experience with safety management systems and reporting tools.
Pay:
$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
