Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Supports basic health, safety, and environmental compliance activities under close supervision. The HSE Technician II is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of HSE policies and programs, conducting regular audits, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations across our manufacturing sites. HSE Technician II performs more complex HSE tasks with moderate supervision. Requires a solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Conduct routine audits and inspections independently. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses. Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics. Develop and deliver safety training sessions. Maintain and organize safety documentation and records. Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards. Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics. Support emergency response planning and drills Conduct risk assessments for both new and existing tasks and equipment. Innovate process improvements and managing actions to completion. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks. Help distribute PPE and ensure proper usage. Conduct basic hazard identification and risk assessments.

REQUIREMENTS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) Proficient in incident investigation and reporting. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 2-5 years of experience in HSE or related field. Demonstrated ability to work independently on safety tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(required levels) Associate or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Science, or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Construction) Fall Protection (if applicable) Rigging and Signal Person (if applicable)
HAZWOPER
(if applicable) Forklift/Heavy Equipment Safety (if applicable)
