Health And Safety Specialist

• Description
• Develop and maintain site specific health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting, documentation, and corrective actions
• Facilitate safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and onboarding for new employees
• Ensure the plant is compliant with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies and is always audit ready
• Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare reports for site leadership
• Collaborate with leadership and HR to promote a proactive safety culture
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning
• Serve as the primary contact for safety-related matters at the Memphis site

• Safety Certs are a plus (OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, etc.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
