Food Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain safety, health, and loss prevention programs Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state safety regulations Drive continuous improvement in safety monitoring and reporting systems Conduct safety training (Behavior-Based Safety, Confined Space, Hazard Recognition, etc.) Lead safety initiatives and coordinate Safety Squad activities Perform audits, incident tracking, and corrective action follow-ups Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workplace safety

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in a safety role (manufacturing environment preferred) Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations Experience with safety training and compliance programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data/reporting tools Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills If you're open to exploring opportunities that align with your skills, experience, and long-term career growth, I'd be happy to connect and discuss further.
