Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Employee Occupational Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting safe patient care by managing both administrative and clinical tasks that keep the department running smoothly and maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Providing front-line administrative support, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing billing, and maintaining accurate records + Acting as a patient advocate by promptly responding to questions and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism + Maintaining thorough and organized patient and employee health files, ensuring all documentation is up to date + Coordinating employee health services such as pre-employment screenings, immunizations, fit testing, and follow-up on work-related injuries.
+ Monitoring and restocking medical and office supplies to keep the unit fully equipped and ready to provide care
What qualifications you will need:
+ (BAT) Breath Alcohol Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Urine Drug Screen Collector must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date + High School Graduate / GED No Travel Required
