Safety Representative (Entry Level) •Must be bilingual•
Location:
Pipe Production & Manufacturing Facility Pay:
$15.00-$17.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Rotating Shift (Must be available for weekends and overtime as needed) Position Summary DV Staffing is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Safety Representative to support the facility's safety program at a pipe production and manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for assisting with workplace safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, promoting safe work practices, and helping ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), physically capable of walking the production floor for extended periods, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Essential Job Duties Conduct routine safety inspections throughout the manufacturing facility. Assist with safety audits and identify unsafe conditions or work practices. Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Report hazards, near misses, and safety concerns to management. Assist with accident and incident investigations. Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support new employee safety orientations and ongoing safety training. Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, and documentation. Promote a positive safety culture throughout the facility. Communicate safety expectations to employees in both English and Spanish. Perform other safety-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations. Strong observation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn manufacturing safety procedures. Physical Requirements Must be physically able to walk the production floor for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed. Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial equipment. Required to wear all appropriate PPE while on the production floor. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments. Experience conducting inspections or safety observations. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required. Positive attitude with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Pay:
