Our ECCO Supply™ division offers comprehensive wholesale distribution services for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) supplies and equipment. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering substantial market expansion to join our organization as we continue to grow.ABOUT THE POSITION
The Health & Safety Administrator is responsible for maintaining, managing, and continually improving health and safety processes that support ECCO's Health & Safety Program at the Dallas manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with all applicable U.S. federal, state, and local occupational health and safety regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and assists with the effective implementation of ECCO's Safety Management System. Key Responsibilities Maintain, manage, and continually improve health and safety procedures that support ECCO's Safety Management System, including policies, procedures, standards, forms, and records. Maintain current and accurate health and safety records, including procedures, safe work practices, hazard assessments, and training documentation. Coordinate and monitor compliance activities, including inspections, audits, corrective actions, and regulatory requirements. Keep precise records and statistics for incidents, near misses, first aid cases, and injuries. Lead and support incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring that root causes are identified and that corrective and preventive actions are documented, implemented, and verified. Track trends in incident data, inspection findings, and safety observations, and prepare reports to support ongoing improvement initiatives. Manage the Return-to-Work / Stay-at-Work (RTW / SAW) process from a safety coordination standpoint, including maintaining modified duty task inventories aligned with operational capabilities. Coordinate and document safety training programs, including new hire orientations, refresher courses, job-specific safety training, and regulatory-mandated training. Maintain inventories of safety equipment, first aid supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote proper usage and compliance. Assist with internal and external safety audits and inspections, including preparing documentation and following up on findings. Participate in and support Health & Safety Committee meetings, including preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items. Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure consistent application of safety policies, procedures, and expectations throughout the facility.ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Post-secondary degree or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, or a related discipline. 1-2 years of experience assisting with H&S administrative functions Demonstrated understanding of Safety Management Systems, including policy development, hazard identification, risk assessment, incident management, and continuous improvement processes. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and occupational health and safety compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with safety data tracking, document control, and audit preparation processes Knowledge of workplace hazard assessments, risk management, and emergency response planning. First Aid and CPR certification are considered assets. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to manage data, prepare reports, and maintain documentation systems.Job Type:
