We are looking for a dependable professional with experience inspecting multiple fire protection systems who takes pride in delivering quality work and exceptional customer service. In this role, you will perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, kitchen hood suppression, fire extinguisher, and other life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company policies. You'll work independently in the field, identify deficiencies, prepare accurate inspection reports, and help ensure our customers' facilities remain safe and code compliant. Responsibilities Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems. Inspect and test fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards. Perform inspections of kitchen hood suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, and other life safety systems. Conduct backflow inspections and testing (if licensed). Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Complete accurate electronic inspection reports and documentation. Communicate inspection findings clearly with customers and internal service teams. Ensure all inspections comply with NFPA standards, local AHJ requirements, and manufacturer specifications. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and testing equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing Century Fire Protection. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of fire protection inspection experience. Experience inspecting multiple fire protection systems preferred. Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 13, 17A, 25, 72, and other applicable fire protection codes. Current Texas fire protection licenses are highly preferred, including one or more of the following: Fire Alarm Inspector Fire Sprinkler Inspector Fire Extinguisher License Kitchen Hood Suppression License Backflow Certification NICET certification is a plus. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily inspection schedules. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, crawl, bend, and work in confined spaces. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and inspection equipment. Why Join Century Fire Protection?
