Pay Grade:
Grade 2 Position Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities operates campus safety vehicles; monitors and responds to calls received through the campus safety cellphone and related communication systems; performs duties associated with assigned work schedules consisting primarily of overnight and weekend shifts, with occasional weekday assignments during campus holiday closures; conducts vehicle and foot patrols of campus buildings and grounds; serves as an initial responder when required; conducts loss prevention and asset protection functions; identifies and reports safety hazards and suspicious activity; assists students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors as needed while helping maintain a safe and secure campus environment. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED, some college desired; prior security experience in an educational, medical, or corporate environment desirable; knowledge of and ability to apply effective security measures and appropriate enforcement of college rules and regulations; demonstrates a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work with the public and local law enforcement agencies; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; individual must possess valid Texas Drivers' License and meet driving record criteria established by the college; must possess the ability to exercise self-restraint and maintain composure under pressure or adverse conditions; ability to perform the duties of the job efficiently in a self-directed or team environment with limited supervision; qualified/certified or the ability to qualify/certify within sixty (60) days of employment in general first-aid, CPR, AED, and blood pressure monitoring procedures; exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration; To apply, visit https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/portal/C3B2B056DC3ED5A1D17132585A7FF495/jobs/91245 Copyright ©2025 Jobelephant.com Inc.
