An Industrial Hygiene Specialist conducts assessments to identify health and environmental hazards at a workplace, and works to eliminate or mitigate hazards. Evaluates exposure to hazardous materials and monitors environmental conditions such as air quality. Develops health and safety programs and training, including ergonomics training for employees.

Job Description

Required Qualifications:
MSHA Part 46 Certification (current). OSHA 30-Hour Certification. Minimum of 5 years of safety experience. Experience working on industrial/EPC construction projects. Must reside in Texas. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be willing and available to workdays, nights, weekends, and extended shifts as required. There will be periods where the project operates 24/7.
Compensation:
$38.00 per hour. (could be negotiable) Additional $25.00 per day for fuel and meals.
Pay:
$35.00 - $38.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have current (within the last year) MSHA Part 46 new miner training (24 hrs) documented on a 5000-23 form (or an approved alternate)
