Tampico Bottling Company, a growing company with corporate offices in Chicago, has an immediate opportunity for a Sanitation Manager in Palestine, Texas.

The Sanitation Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the facility sanitation program within a beverage manufacturing environment while actively promoting a continuous improvement environment for the sanitation process and employees. This role ensures that all sanitation activities are performed in accordance with FDA regulations, including 21 CFR 114 (Acidified Foods) and 21 CFR 117 (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). The Sanitation Manager is responsible for sanitation execution, and in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team, conducts sanitation verification and regulatory compliance monitoring, ensuring the effectiveness of the plant sanitation program. This role reports to the Plant Manager and will work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Maintenance teams.RESPONSIBILITIES
: Develop and maintain Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Implement and manage the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). Train staff in proper sanitation procedures, techniques and recordkeeping, providing ongoing education and ensure sanitation tasks are completed according to established procedures. Monitor sanitation effectiveness through internal operational inspections and reviews. Develop and manage systems to recognize and resolve sanitation related issues promptly to maintain a hygienic environment and ensure sanitation procedures support microbial contamination prevention. Manage proper maintenance of sanitation equipment and inventory of sanitation supplies to ensure operational efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS
: Associate degree or technical training in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, Environmental Health, Industrial Sanitation, or related field; Bachelor's degree in Food Science preferred. 5+ years of Sanitation experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing with 3+ years management experience. Experienced in Sanitation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI) Quality System management. Experience in sanitation chemical usage and sanitation equipment including testing equipment. Proven ability to train, develop and lead other employees' skills and knowledge in Sanitation and food safety. Ability to analyze information, solve problems or find alternative solutions. Detail oriented while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to stand or sit for prolonged period of time, lift 50lbs and climb stairs. Intermediate/Advanced experience in Microsoft Office. Position required to work varying shifts and weekends at times to support project execution requirements. Ideal place of residence is Palestine, TX, or surrounding areas.NOTE:
