- Safety & Health Representative We are looking for a talented Safety & Health Representative that has a passion for quality construction.
- Assists with new hire general safety orientation.
- Coordinates, conducts and documents safety meetings and on-site safety assessments.
- Assists management in preparing safety policies and procedures; provides support in implementing these policies and procedures.
- Ensures that federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules are observed.
- Works with the Safety Department and ensures that OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements are met.
- Provides safety technical support and education for supervisors and employees.
- Provides feedback to encourage learning.
- Promotes proactive and preventive safety activities by observing, analyzing, encouraging safe work behaviors and correcting unsafe conditions.
- Monitors safety compliance, creating awareness and set priorities that focus on continuous safety improvement.
- Assists and documents incident investigations to include a detailed RCA, sharing of lessons learned, communicating next steps and tracking associated action items.
- Nationwide travel is required. What You'll Bring
- Working knowledge of 29 CFR
OSHA 1926
Construction Industry Regulations.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Proven communication, organizational, presentation and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's Degree Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management preferred, or related field equivalent experience will be considered.
- 1-3 years of construction safety experience preferred. What You'll Get
