  • Full-time About the Role We are building a fire protection company in Northern Virginia and are looking for an experienced fire sprinkler professional to help lead our service operations.
This role is focused on managing and maintaining fire protection service accounts, inspection and maintenance contracts, deficiency repairs, scheduling, code compliance, technician oversight, and field quality. The person hired will also be the company's license holder for Virginia fire sprinkler contracting, so we are willing to pay top-of-market compensation for the right candidate. This is a senior leadership role with real growth opportunity as the company expands. Responsibilities Lead fire sprinkler service operations Oversee inspection, testing, and maintenance contracts Manage deficiency repairs and service work Help schedule technicians and ensure jobs are completed correctly Review work for code compliance, quality, and documentation Support permitting, inspections, AHJ communication, and closeout requirements Help train, manage, and evaluate technicians Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, general contractors, inspectors, and internal team members Help develop service processes, checklists, documentation standards, and field procedures Support renewal opportunities, customer retention, and new service work as needed Act as the company's license holder for Virginia fire sprinkler contracting Qualifications 5+ years of fire sprinkler experience required 2+ years of leadership, management, or senior field/design experience preferred Ability to act as the company's license holder for Virginia fire sprinkler contracting NICET Level III or higher preferred NICET Level IV strongly preferred Virginia PE with automatic fire sprinkler experience also considered Preferred Experience 5+ years of fire sprinkler service, inspection, repair, design, project management, or field leadership experience 2+ years in a leadership role such as service manager, project manager, foreman, superintendent, senior inspector, or senior designer Experience managing or supporting inspection, testing, and maintenance contracts Experience with deficiency repairs, service scheduling, customer communication, and field quality control Experience working with commercial, multifamily, HOA, industrial, or residential fire protection accounts Experience with fire pumps, standpipes, tenant fit-outs, inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs Experience communicating with AHJs, inspectors, property managers, general contractors, technicians, and office staff
NICET III, NICET
IV, or Virginia PE credentials strongly preferred Compensation $110,000
  • $150,000 per year Compensation depends on experience, certifications, and ability to act as the company's license holder for Virginia fire sprinkler contracting.
Candidates with
NICET III+, NICET IV, PE
credentials, or strong fire sprinkler service management experience will be considered at the higher end of the range.
