Job Description
About the Role As a Food Safety and Compliance Coordinator, you will serve as the primary architect of our quality systems, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of safety and regulatory excellence. You will leverage your expertise in HACCP and SQF frameworks to drive continuous improvement, mitigate operational risks, and foster a culture of uncompromising food safety across the organization. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of robust SOPs, SSOPs, and comprehensive food safety plans to ensure full regulatory compliance. Act as the central point of contact for third-party audits, including SQF, FDA, and USDA inspections, to maintain our certification status. Oversee the integrity of the Halal certification program, from raw material procurement to final product shipment. Manage critical food defense and fraud prevention initiatives, including the execution of mock recalls and business continuity drills. Perform rigorous quality control inspections on incoming raw materials and finished goods to uphold strict quality benchmarks. Collaborate cross-functionally to provide technical support for sensory evaluations, product specifications, and label compliance. Maintain laboratory standards and provide data-driven reports to leadership regarding quality metrics and operational KPIs.
