Summary The EHS Coordinator oversees all aspects of environmental, health, and safety compliance within the organization which has operations in multiple states. This position ensures full adherence to Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA), Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency regulations, develops and implements safety programs, manages audits, and promotes safety culture across all company operations. Role and Responsibilities Monitor and interpret changes to federal, state and location regulations Maintain all necessary permits, licenses and reporting obligations Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and investigations Develop, implement and maintain safety programs, policies and procedures. Conduct regular training and refresher sessions for new, existing employees and contractors on regulatory and company safety requirements. Develop and maintain a budget Maintain Training Files for new hires and task training Lead safety talks, job safety analyses, and emergency drills. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and property damage to determine root causes and corrective actions. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field preferred. OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR certification preferred MSHA Part 46/48 Trainer certification preferred Work Conditions Manufacturing Plant Office Quarry Hours will be Full-time, Onsite M-F Buechel Stone Corp will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment in compliance with the FCO
