A Sanitation Specialist completes sanitation inspections and monitors sanitation practices for a company or government public health agency. Maintains cleanliness and equipment sanitation at a production facility, monitors safe storage of supplies, and inspects and monitors product safety. May inspect public and food service establishments and report on compliance with public health requirements, or advise on sanitation for public health initiatives.
Work is performed across both of our locations, Lucille and Merchant. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional cleaner to deep clean and maintain the bathrooms at both of our locations. Bathrooms are the top priority of this role, so we need someone who takes pride in delivering consistently thorough, high-quality results. Additional deep-cleaning duties will be assigned and managed by our Director of Facilities. The ideal candidate has previous experience working for a professional cleaning company and is comfortable working independently during early-morning hours. Responsibilities Thoroughly deep clean, disinfect, and sanitize bathrooms at both locations Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, partitions, walls, floors, and other bathroom surfaces Restock bathroom supplies and notify management when inventory is low Identify and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns Complete additional deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by the Director of Facilities Follow established cleaning procedures and safely use cleaning products and equipment Travel between both locations as required Complete all assigned work carefully, efficiently, and on schedule Required Qualifications Previous professional cleaning experience with a cleaning company Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Availability every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Ability to reliably travel between both locations Knowledge of safe cleaning-product handling and sanitation practices
