Pay Rate Range:
$26.52/hourResponsibilities:
Conduct safety training for new hires, employees, and supervisors. Maintain accurate electronic and physical safety training records. Lead and facilitate Safety Committee meetings. Conduct workplace inspections, safety surveys, and audits. Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvements. Manage Return-to-Work and light-duty programs. Support initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims. Conduct training on Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, PPE, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, and Emergency Action Plans. Audit safety programs, including LOTO, PPE, machine guarding, conveyor safety, and industrial hazards. Identify and help eliminate unsafe conditions, work practices, and hazardous exposures. Maintain inspection records for life-safety equipment. Translate safety documents and communications between English and Spanish. Analyze safety data and identify trends related to workplace hazards and incidents. Partner with operations and other departments to resolve safety concerns and implement improved procedures. Manage the emergency clinic and support first aid response.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of safety-related work experience required. 3+ years of EHS experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with conveyor safety and machine guarding is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish and English required. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work outside normal business hours when required for urgent safety matters. Ability to travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed. Must maintain a current passport. Preferred certifications include GSP, ASP, orCRSP. ABOUT US
