A Sanitation Specialist completes sanitation inspections and monitors sanitation practices for a company or government public health agency. Maintains cleanliness and equipment sanitation at a production facility, monitors safe storage of supplies, and inspects and monitors product safety. May inspect public and food service establishments and report on compliance with public health requirements, or advise on sanitation for public health initiatives.

Follow SOP's for proper drain sanitation Follow SOP for cleaning plastic pallets. Follow SOP for cleaning of utensils and containers. Follow SOP for bailing cardboard, plastic, super sacks, and ingredient bags/containers. Enforce plant wide GMP compliance. Assist with plant audits as needed.
