The Role We're seeking a Security & Access Control Coordinator to manage site access by greeting and welcoming visitors and ensuring only authorized personnel enter our Huntington Beach HQ. Coordinators are trained and experienced customer service or security professionals who will provide the foundation of our physical security programs at Mach Industries. The ideal candidate is an experienced Security Officer or Operator, has a bias for action, is trustworthy, and consistently demonstrates excellence. Additionally, ideal candidates have a strong understanding of requirements for safeguarding sensitive technology (ITAR/CUI), excellent communication skills, and experience managing security programs in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet Employees, Contractors, and Guests with a positive attitude. Ensure only authorized personnel enter the site. Act as a liaison between hosts and new hires/site visitors Facilitate the check-in and check-out process with site visitors. Process visitor and foreign visitor requests prior to arrival of guests to our facilities. Monitor CCTV, access control, environmental, and alarm systems for potential security breaches or emergencies. Draft and deliver emergency communications when required. Address and resolve security issues promptly, effectively, and independently. Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensure that all team members understand and comply with those laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency certificate. 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Operator. Ability to work 12-hour shifts on the weekend. Familiarity with operating access control and visitor management systems. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role. Previous law enforcement, emergency response, or military experience Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, when needed. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
