Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Security Scheduling Manager to lead the planning and coordination of security personnel shifts across our facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure seamless coverage of security operations, optimize staffing efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and security. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets while fostering a culture of vigilance and responsiveness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence security effectiveness through strategic scheduling and team management. Duties Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security staffing schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage aligned with operational needs. Coordinate with security teams, law enforcement agencies, and emergency responders to facilitate effective communication and incident response planning. Monitor security staffing levels regularly, adjusting schedules proactively to address fluctuations in operational demands or special events. Maintain detailed records of shift assignments, attendance, and incident reports to support compliance and operational audits. Oversee the onboarding process for new security personnel, including scheduling training sessions on topics such as CPR, first aid, conflict management, surveillance techniques, and report writing. Collaborate with security leadership to identify staffing gaps or training needs related to law enforcement procedures or military experience. Ensure all security staff are equipped with necessary certifications and skills such as first aid, CPR, surveillance operations, and conflict resolution. Requirements Proven experience in security management roles with a strong understanding of security operations and personnel scheduling. Knowledge and experience with Track Tik GTMS Knowledge of surveillance systems, report writing protocols, conflict management strategies, and emergency response procedures. Certifications required-CA Guard Card, CA Exposed Firearm, Baton, law enforcement practices, military experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external agencies effectively. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and decisively during incidents or emergencies. Background in security or related fields such as law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
