Job Summary The Area Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all security operations within the organization in Denver. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through effective surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, or extensive uniformed security management experience, coupled with excellent leadership skills to manage a team of security personnel. Responsibilities Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all employees and visitors. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures. Manage conflict situations effectively, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats. Coordinate training programs for security staff on first aid, CPR, surveillance techniques, and security strategies. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to enhance security measures and response protocols. Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security breaches for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations. Qualifications

MUST HAVE DENVER SECURITY GUARD LICENSE

Proven experience in a security management role or similar position. Background in security management, law enforcement or military service is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to ensure comprehensive security coverage. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards while fostering a secure environment for all individuals within the organization. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background investigation. Must have a current driver's license and transportation. Must have extensive security Management experience.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
