Duties Lead and manage the security team to ensure efficient coverage across all operational areas. Develop, implement, and regularly update security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry standards. Oversee access control systems to regulate entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct thorough background checks on potential security staff and perform routine performance evaluations. Coordinate emergency response activities including first aid, CPR, evacuation procedures, and liaising with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. Perform physical security inspections including fence checks, patrols, and heavy lifting tasks as required to maintain site integrity. Prepare detailed incident reports, security logs, and operational documentation for management review. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and legal requirements at local, state, and federal levels. Manage conflict resolution among staff or visitors while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Skills Proven experience in security management or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of physical security practices. Strong communication skills for report writing, incident documentation, and customer service interactions. Ability to perform background checks accurately and efficiently.
