In this role, you will oversee a team of security personnel, develop and implement security protocols, and coordinate emergency response efforts. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while fostering excellent customer service and compliance with all security regulations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses strong leadership skills to manage complex security challenges effectively. Duties Lead and manage the security team to ensure efficient coverage across all operational areas. Develop, implement, and regularly update security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry standards. Oversee access control systems to regulate entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct thorough background checks on potential security staff and perform routine performance evaluations. Coordinate emergency response activities including first aid, CPR, evacuation procedures, and liaising with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity or security breaches. Perform physical security inspections including fence checks, patrols, and heavy lifting tasks as required to maintain site integrity. Prepare detailed incident reports, security logs, and operational documentation for management review. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and legal requirements at local, state, and federal levels. Manage conflict resolution among staff or visitors while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Skills Proven experience in security management or law enforcement roles with a strong understanding of physical security practices. Knowledge of security systems including access control systems and surveillance technology. Excellent team management skills to motivate, train, and supervise security personnel effectively. Strong communication skills for report writing, incident documentation, and customer service interactions. Ability to perform background checks accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with emergency response procedures such as first aid (including CPR), evacuation plans, and conflict management strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and operational documentation. Physical capability for heavy lifting tasks and patrolling large premises as needed. Knowledge of compliance standards related to security regulations across different industries or sectors.
