As we continue to grow, protecting our people, inventory, facilities, and company assets remains a top priority. We are seeking an experienced Asset Protection Manager to lead our security, safety, and compliance efforts across the organization. Position Overview American Liquidations is seeking an experienced Asset Protection Manager to lead and oversee all asset protection, security, safety, and compliance initiatives across the company. This is a management-level position responsible for developing and enforcing company-wide asset protection strategies, conducting investigations, reducing shrink, mitigating risk, and partnering with leadership to protect company assets. Based primarily at our Bristol Distribution Center, this role will serve as the company's primary asset protection leader and subject matter expert. While Bristol will be the primary focus, the Asset Protection Manager will also oversee asset protection efforts at our retail locations through camera monitoring, investigations, audits, policy enforcement, and periodic site visits. The Asset Protection Manager will work closely with warehouse, retail, operations, and HR leadership to strengthen security practices, improve accountability, and support a safe and secure working environment. This role requires a proven asset protection professional with prior management experience in a retail environment and a demonstrated ability to lead investigations, influence operational decisions, hold employees accountable, and drive measurable shrink reduction results. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the company's asset protection, security, safety, and compliance programs. Develop and implement strategies to reduce shrink, theft, fraud, and operational loss. Monitor warehouse and retail operations to identify theft, fraud, safety concerns, and operational risks. Review CCTV footage and actively monitor camera systems across all locations. Conduct employee bag checks and oversee employee entry and exit procedures. Lead investigations involving inventory discrepancies, theft concerns, policy violations, and other incidents. Partner with warehouse, retail, operations, and HR leadership to identify risks and implement corrective action plans. Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop, update, and enforce asset protection, safety, and security policies. Train managers and employees on loss prevention, compliance, workplace security, and shrink reduction best practices. Visit retail locations as needed to perform audits, investigations, and support store leadership. Partner closely with the HR Manager on employee investigations, policy enforcement, corrective action recommendations, and workplace compliance matters. Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership regarding security risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and asset protection throughout the organization. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Asset Protection Management experience in a retail environment required. Experience managing asset protection, loss prevention, or security programs across multiple locations preferred. Proven experience conducting investigations and managing shrink reduction initiatives. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance monitoring, investigative procedures, and operational controls. Experience developing, implementing, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance practices. Leadership experience with the ability to influence managers, hold employees accountable, and drive organizational change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or high-volume retail environments. Experience managing shrink reduction and asset protection programs. OSHA, safety, compliance, or asset protection certifications. Additional Requirements Candidates must successfully pass a background check prior to employment. Physical Requirements Ability to walk warehouse and retail locations for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and conduct facility inspections. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in both warehouse and retail environments.
