Full Job Description Campus Security Specialist On Call:

The Security Specialist carries out all aspects of the McGregor Baptist Church Security program while ministering to all with whom he/she comes in contact with Christ-like actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a vital role in carrying out the gospel mission of the church by demonstrating personal modeling of the Christian faith and acting as a messenger and teacher of the gospel in all aspects of life. Secure all buildings, rooms, and associated facilities on a daily basis. Set all alarms and coordinate with alarm companies (as well as notify the Director of Facility Operations) in all instances of alarm failures or problems associated with securing any building on the McGregor Baptist Church Campus. Responds to all alarm calls during their shift. Identify problems requiring maintenance and reports them to the Maintenance Personnel. Identify unsafe conditions and reports such conditions to the Safety and Security Supervisor. Patrols the parking lots, buildings and rooms as directed with the intent of ensuring facilities are secure and in turn providing a visible deterrent. Escort associates who are working late to their cars (as requested). Assist staff, church members and visitors in the event there is a vehicle accident on campus by notifying the police and remaining on scene until the problem is resolved.
