This role involves coordinating staff schedules, managing artwork safety, liaising with security services, and responding to higher-level communications. The Exhibition Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the professionalism, safety, and overall success of the exhibition. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day tasks to ensure all staff are in their designated positions before the exhibition opens each morning. Ensure staff members adhere to proper attire and conduct standards. Manage staff scheduling using designated systems to track hours and coordinate shifts effectively. Confirm all staff have taken legally mandated breaks on time to promote well-being and compliance. Oversee the safety and security of all artwork, including monitoring display areas and implementing security protocols. Coordinate with a local security company to ensure comprehensive security coverage for the exhibition. Respond promptly to emails and fulfill operational needs as directed by higher management. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment conducive to a successful exhibition experience. Manage payroll and send hours up to payroll while CC into the CEO as well as the payroll company Making sure the spray room is fully stocked with T shirts and spray paint, and keeping inventory so you can order items in a timely manner Help with load in and load out of the event doing things that maybe out of this job description Hiring new staff if need be and letting go of those who don't work out Experience Proven experience in event or exhibition management, with strong organizational skills. Prior experience in staff coordination and scheduling is preferred. Knowledge of art handling, display safety procedures, and security protocols is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for liaising with security providers, staff, and management. Ability to respond quickly to operational needs and adapt to changing circumstances on-site.Pay:
