Key Responsibilities The Personnel Security Specialist is responsible for administering and managing personnel security programs to ensure compliance with U.S. Government security requirements, federal regulations, and company policies. This position supports the processing, adjudication, and maintenance of security clearances for employees, contractors, and consultants while safeguarding classified and sensitive information. Must be in office 5 days a week in our Bethesda location. Preferred Qualifications Process and manage personnel security clearances, including initial investigations, periodic reinvestigations, upgrades, and reciprocity requests. Prepare, review, and submit security clearance documentation through government systems, including DISS, NBIS/eApp, and other applicable databases. Conduct pre-employment security screening and verify eligibility for access to classified information. Maintain accurate personnel security records and ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations and contract requirements. Monitor clearance eligibility, expiration dates, and reinvestigation requirements. Coordinate with government customers, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), contracting officers, Facility Security Officers (FSOs), and Human Resources.
