This is an onsite position protecting our nation's most sensitive programs. The Special Access Programs (SAPs) and secure facility operations demand rigorous oversight to ensure the operational integrity and classified information protection at one of the Marine Corps' premier aviation units. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work directly with the Special Security Officer (SSO) and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) to manage security for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities spanning the full range of special security disciplines. Support the SSO and SIO in implementing policies and managing the overall security posture of 2d MAW's intelligence programs. Provide oversight of facility construction ensuring adherence to site security plans and ICD 705 compliance. Oversee the security of intelligence facilities, including maintenance of physical access controls, secure storage, and emergency response planning. Document and report security incidents affecting intelligence systems; analyze vulnerabilities and support mitigation efforts in line with USMC protocols. Administer security measures to protect intelligence systems and classified information within SCI facilities, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and Marine Corps protocols. Design and conduct a Security Education and Awareness (SETA) program, performing quarterly training to reinforce best practices and ensure personnel are informed of current SCI security procedures and risks. Provide subject matter expertise on intelligence data systems, including risk assessments, system hardening, and cyber defense measures. Maintain all required documentation such as risk reports, access logs, assessments, and audit records to support intelligence operations and security compliance.
