Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard Manager to uphold safety and security across our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond swiftly to emergencies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as the frontline defender of our organization's safety protocols while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to identify potential security risks. Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with security policies. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns accurately and thoroughly. Conduct physical security measures such as manual handling of equipment or heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or incident response. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or when legal intervention is needed. Experience Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating a strong understanding of physical security practices. Training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures is essential; certifications in firearm handling or Taser use are advantageous. Ability to perform thorough background checks and maintain confidentiality throughout sensitive processes. Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions, incident reporting, and conflict de-escalation. Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties involving long periods of standing or walking; capable of heavy lifting when required. Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and protocols to ensure organizational safety standards are met consistently. Have at least 2 years of Management experience.
