Summary Supports and administers organizational security plans and operations. Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property, day-to-day operations, mitigate threats, conduct loss prevention, and other related security risk programs and meets required codes and regulations. Compiles data for security related reports, investigates security incidents and conducts security functions supporting SAP/Collateral requirements. Ensure NISPOM implementations and administers organizational security plans and operations. Entry professional level - Incumbent in this role learns to use professional concepts. Guidance and direction are typically received from more experienced colleagues. Provides consistency and support to experienced professionals from his/her area of activity. The selected candidate will serve as the Alternate Contractor SAP Security Ocer (ACSSO) in Binghamton, NY and additional duties shall include Alternate FSO (AFSO), and Alternate COMSEC member. The candidate will ensure daily security compliance tasks are conducted IAW USG instructions. The candidate will work closely with the Customer, Security Management, and assigned Program sta, ensuring all aspects of Special Program security needs are met. Ensure security policies and procedures comply with Government standards
Provide security guidance regarding program and operations
Ensure compliance with applicable government and company regulations
Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies and procedures specic to the program
Provide solutions to Program Security challenges and provide notications
Administer security indoctrinations and debriengs
Conduct security reviews / self-inspections
Manage the administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, conducting program related investigations, and resolving other related Program Security issues
Assist with providing classication guidance to employees, develop and provide security education and awareness training, conduct security briengs and program indoctrinations/debriengs, and investigate security incidents
Support other security disciplines to include: personnel security, physical security, cybersecurity, communication security (COMSEC), document control, and visitor control. The candidate must be able to respond to after-hours alarms.
Perform initial access eligibility determinations and generate PARs
Assist with internal self-inspections, and assist with Sta Assistance Visits and Customer Security Compliance Inspections and Assessments
Maintain classied material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records and nal disposition documentation
Possess working knowledge in the preparation and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD254s
Ensure all classied materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
Review operational requirements and system specication documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes
Respond to walk-in customers and perform professional security services as required
Communication Ability to participate in IPT meetings and support activities
Ability to clearly communicate program status, issues, risks, opportunities and plans
Ability to communicate with program personnel/management
Ability to receive constructive feedback, recognize blind spots and work collaboratively to maintain a positive, collaborative, and eective team environment
Ability to follow instructions, actively listen and understand the message being relayed/requested
Ability to adapt, improve and enhance work productivity and teamwork
Qualications and Education Requirements
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role
Preferred current Top Secret/SCI eligibility with current investigation date
DoD Secret Clearance eligibility with Investigation current within the last 3-5 years
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance and all Special Program accesses
Education:
Preferred Associate and/or bachelor's degree in a related security eld
College degree in related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
Experience in implementation of security requirements and administering DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4
Experience in the implementation of Intelligence Community Directives for SAP/SCI programs is desired
Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, written and verbal communications are a must
Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in a variety of program areas
Willing to travel on company business (approximately 10%)
Completion of SAP Orientation, SAP Mid-level Course (CDSE) preferred
Competency level with Microsoft Oce Suite programs, Excel, Word Doc and Power Point Applications Preferred Skills Ability to perform COMSEC duties, including inventory support
Demonstrated knowledge of JSIG, DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4, and ICDs 704-705
Working knowledge of CV2/JADE, DISS, Scattered Castles, LICNET, CORE
Professional Certications (FSO, Industrial Security Pro, SPSC, CDSE, etc.)
Able to articulate, plan, direct and evaluate situations to make appropriate recommendations and take actions benecial to the program and the company
Must display tactful and self-discipline necessary to interface eectively with customers, vendors, all levels of management, employees and the general public
Working within a Compartmented Program environment
Security Responsibilities Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or aord access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment
Duties performed in an oce environment and manufacturing facility
Must be able to work overtime on and o-shifts as required
The employee is on call 24x7 for the resolution of problems and issues

Salary Range:
Minimum $87,000 - Maximum 92,000 The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidate's work experience, qualications, skills, internal equity, and market.
