This position leads the security team daily while maintaining a safe, professional, customer-service-focused environment for tenants, employees, visitors, and property management. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily security operations. Supervise, schedule, and provide leadership to Security Officers. Ensure proper staffing while effectively managing overtime. Train, coach, counsel, and evaluate Security Officers. Ensure officers meet professional appearance, customer service, attendance, and performance standards. Conduct regular inspections of security personnel, posts, and equipment. Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, visitor management, and incident response. Review incident reports and other security documentation for accuracy and completeness. Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, fire alarms, medical calls, and other property-related situations. Maintain strong communication with property management and United Protective Services leadership. Attend client meetings and provide updates regarding staffing, incidents, training, and security operations. Ensure compliance with post orders, emergency procedures, company policies, and client expectations. Identify security concerns and recommend solutions or operational improvements. Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and security training. Develop Security Officers and identify potential future supervisors and leaders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous security supervisory or management experience required. Commercial office building or Class A property experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with scheduling, training, employee performance, and security operations. Knowledge of access control, CCTV, patrol procedures, incident reporting, and emergency response. Strong written communication and report-writing skills. Ability to interact professionally with tenants, property management, executives, visitors, and emergency responders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security-related technology. Professional appearance and demeanor.
