Position Title:

Security Specialist-Mid Position Overview:

S2Technologies is actively seeking a Senior Security Specialist to provide physical and personnel security services to the Science and Technology Directorate's Office of Space and Counterspace (SCS). Serve as a Senior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and provide support to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO). As the CPSO, she/he will provide support for program security and execution of all security policies and requirements for specified SAP programs, compartments, sub-compartments, and projects.

Responsibilities:

Review, draft, and maintain physical security and facility-related documentation. Conduct inspections of physical facilities, including TSCM compliance checks. Develop and update SOPs and other facility-related documents. Train personnel on access control lists and associated procedures. Train personnel in courier and secure transport procedures. Perform physical and personnel security duties in support of SSO/SSR responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with government security databases (e.g., DISS). Experience working with JADE, Scatter Castles, JPAS Strong SAP and SCIF accreditation experience Experience preparing, maintaining, and submitting security paperwork; familiarity with ICD 705, DoDD 5205.07, and related directives required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) training highly desired Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) strongly desired Experience training on and working with Special Access Programs (SAPs). Experience supporting SCIF accreditations and inspections. Experience serving as an SSO or SSR in government or contractor roles. Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $135,000
